Miss Janelle’s Music Studio has been providing quality music education for over 20 years. Founded by Miss Janelle in 1999, our music program grew and became a leading institution for voice instruction and strings instrument instruction in the area teaching over 120 combined music and art students a week for many years.
At Miss Janelle’s Music Studio, we believe that every person has the potential to learn and enjoy music. We strive to create a positive and nurturing environment where students can develop their skills and creativity and gain confidence and self-expression through music.
Miss Janelle is a professional instructor from Chicago Illinois who owned and operated her own music studio for many years. Miss Janelle has taught music for over 20 plus years in some of the most prestigious music schools in the Tri-State area such as The Midwest Music Academy in Plainfield Illinois as well as the American Music Institute in Saint Charles Illinois.
In addition, she began a preschool violin program at a private preschool in Saint Charles Illinois which ran for over 7 years. Most of the students continued playing violin well into their elementary and middle school careers. One student, who began at age 5, cello lessons, received a music scholarship for college.
Miss Janelle studied at the Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Duke University String School in North Carolina as well as studied Music Education at UW Whitewater Wisconsin and has been teaching ever since. Miss Janelle teaches not only violin, but also piano, guitar, cello, piano, viola, voice and percussion.
Starting students at a very young age is extremely beneficial and is noticeable in the developed technique and musicality that is acquired over time. It is never too late to begin learning. Over the course of her teaching career, Miss Janelle has worked with adult students well into their late 70’s and early 80’s who enjoyed every moment.
